He Stood Between

Sometimes God speaks through encounters.

Not through words.
Not through a sermon.
Not through correction or instruction.

Today I want to share an experience that lifted the veil for me over the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven and allowed me to touch the eternal principles and laws of Grace and Mercy.

It was an ordinary morning. I had just stepped into the shower when, quite unexpectedly, I experienced something extraordinary. It felt more real than the physical objects surrounding me.

I saw an arrow.

It was flying swiftly, straight toward my heart.

There was no time to run or defend myself.
There was nothing I could do to change its course.

I knew with absolute certainty that, within a moment, it would strike me.

Just as the arrow was about to reach its target, a mighty Angel instantly stepped between it and me.

The Angel did not speak a single word or make a single movement. He simply stood between us, blocking its path and changing the reality of what was taking place.

Everything happened so quickly that I didn’t even have time to feel afraid.

Within seconds it was over, and I simply continued taking my shower, reflecting on what had just happened—and on what might have happened had the Angel not been there.

Quite some time has passed since then, yet I remember every detail of that encounter.

For a long time, I reflected on it.

God did not speak to explain what I had seen.

He did not say a single word aloud.

Yet, little by little, understanding began to grow within me.

How often do we thank God only for the things we are able to see?

We thank Him for healing.

For an open door.

For unexpected help.

For answered prayers.

And yet, how much goodness in our lives goes unnoticed or is simply taken for granted.

How many arrows never reached their destination simply because Someone was already standing between them and us?

We usually recognize danger only after it has become visible.

But perhaps the greater part of God’s protection takes place precisely where human eyes cannot see.

We often live as though everything depends on our attentiveness, our prayers and petitions, our wisdom, or our ability to anticipate every danger.

Yet life is filled with countless circumstances we never even become aware of and may never know about while we are on this earth.

These are the dangers for which we were the intended target, yet they never fulfilled their purpose. And we did nothing to prevent them.

But He was there.

This is the realm of God’s intervention, where the laws of Grace and Mercy are at work.

Not our abilities and not our strength, but He—in His everlasting Love and His Covenant—stands between us and what could have brought pain, loss, and suffering into our lives.

After this encounter, I began to read the words of the prophet Isaiah differently:

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper…”
Isaiah 54:17

I once understood these words simply as a promise.

Now I put them on as though they were a garment.

I see a care that begins to work long before danger ever becomes visible.

I see a love that is already present in my life before I ever speak my prayers or petitions—a love that protects, surrounds, and shelters me.

This is how the principles and laws of the Kingdom of Heaven reveal themselves, where God’s presence orders our days within the atmosphere of His eternal “I AM.”

This experience, together with many others, has led me to understand not only God’s protection, but even more deeply, His presence.

I began to realize that something far more profound was taking place.

The paradigm itself had changed.

I found myself looking less and less at life through the lens of potential loss,

and more and more through trust, hope, and the eternal inheritance that rightfully belongs to us as His heirs.

Because perhaps the most important part of our story is not the number of arrows that have been aimed in our direction,

but the reality of the Kingdom, which, like the dawn, shines ever brighter upon our days—until the full light of day.
